Don Stader, MD FACEP

Dr. Stader is the founder and president of Stader Opioid Consultants and an emergency and addiction medicine physician. He is the founder and Executive Director of The Naloxone Project, a nonprofit organization that engages hospitals in providing overdose education and naloxone distribution. Dr. Stader leads several state- and nation- wide projects targeted at harm reduction and substance use disorder treatment.

Rachael Duncan, PharmD

Dr. Duncan is a clinical pharmacist that champions several state- and nation- wide perinatal initiatives targeted at creating better systems to support pregnant and postpartum patients and families affected by substance use and use disorders.

Kaylin Klie, MD MA FASAM

Dr. Klie is a family medicine and addiction medicine physician with special interest and expertise in the care of pregnant and parenting people with substance use disorders. She has developed two integrated clinics for pregnant people to receive medical care and substance use support and is the immediate past co-chair of and continues to serve on the Colorado Maternal Mortality Review Committee.

laurie halmo, MD

Dr. Halmo is a medical toxicologist and pediatrician with special interest and expertise in the care of substance exposed newborns and keeping families together. She works clinically at Children’s Hospital of Colorado and Denver Health, and is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics-Pediatric Hospital Medicine at CU School of Medicine.

Erin McMillan

Erin McMillan is a Project Manager and Graphic Designer for Stader Opioid Consultants. She creates visually appealing content in order to push our mission forward. Erin’s years of experience as a small business owner give her valuable perspective on the complexities of project management. 

Susan Bradley, PharmD

Dr. Bradley is a clinical pharmacist experienced in medication management of patients with substance use disorders. She also has a background in pharmacy leadership, clinical project development, regulatory compliance, accreditation, policy writing and systemization.

Sarah Briley, MPH, CHES

Sarah Briley is a Program Manager for Clinical Quality Improvement at the Colorado Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative and helps hospitals implement emerging best practices through the Colorado AIM: SUD program and MOMs+ programs.

Aly Boral is a Program Manager of the Integrated Care Programs at the Colorado Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative. She strives to advance health equity and emphasize the voices of community members in order to create meaningful and sustainable change for moms and their families.

Angela Swafford, AM LCSW

Angela Swafford is a licensed clinical social worker and informaticist with an interest in leveraging the expertise of social workers to operationalize MOUD and harm reduction programs within hospital settings and through successful transitions of care. She has been involved in several statewide initiatives to support emergency departments and hospitals in caring for patients with substance use disorders.

Racquel Garcia, NCPRSS

Racquel Garcia is a Certified Addiction Counselor, Interventionist, Recovery Coach, expert trainer, presenter and entrepreneur. She is the founder of HardBeauty and HardBeauty Foundation. She is a person in sustained recovery and a recognized state and national leader in addressing the opioid crisis, especially the building of peer networks.
