Stanislaus County toolkit

MOMs+ is a maternal overdose prevention program focused on helping clinicians provide evidence-based, equitable access to treatment and recovery for perinatal patients with opioid use disorders (OUDs). The objective of this collaboration is to equip Stanislaus County's DMC-ODS providers (including those in the Adult System of Care teams that work with patients with substance use disorders (SUD) and behavioral health needs), education/training leads, and clinical teams (comprising clinicians, case managers, peers, housing specialists, psychiatrists, nurses, and treatment teams in residential and outpatient settings) with in-depth knowledge and resources on perinatal SUD care. This will ensure adherence to the PPG and foster best practices in serving pregnant and parenting individuals, with a specific focus on newborn and family support.
